About MBody

It’s our passion to support people who are struggling with a hectic or overactive lifestyle to embody a life of health and well-being.

With every treatment and class, we emphasize the importance of aligning the mind to a peaceful and relaxed state while relieving tension and pain within the body’s musculoskeletal system. This approach of mind and body is how we help people heal naturally without surgery or prescription pills.

Meet Our Team

Alex Jokela

Licensed Massage Therapist + Owner

Hi! I’m Alex Jokela, creator of MBody. I was grew up in Laurel, MT and consider the greater community of Billings, MT my home.

I believe that self care is a necessary aspect of a person’s whole well being. Chronic pain or stress can wreak havoc on our jobs, relationships and lives when we forget to acknowledge that taking care of ourselves requires healthy, mindful habits. I help clients bridge the gap between their mind, body and spirit. By exploring mindful practices like breath work, mindset, meditation and massage therapy I help people just like you learn how to find peace of mind, release anxiety, calm the nervous system, and become a healthier version of themselves!

I’ve always been attracted to fields of health and worked in chiropractic offices, orthopedic surgery and a high end Big Sky spa before becoming a licensed massage therapist. I love helping people care for their bodies in order to continue moving and living active lives. The wisdom I share with clients is from my own healing journey of living with anxiety, trauma and chronic pain. I’ve worked through my share of troubles and now dedicate my life to helping others.

Sara Hafer

Certifited Hypnotherapist, Reiki Practitioner

Hi, I’m Sara! I grew up in Laurel & have lived in the Billings area most of my life. I’ve worked in healthcare for 20 years, in both hospital & private practice settings. Over the last decade I’ve been desperately seeking healing for myself & my family & have only found it outside of western medicine.

In my personal quest I have found energy work, hypnotherapy, bodywork & meditation to be the most successful forms of healing for the mind & body. I wholeheartedly believe the dis-ease & dis-comfort we feel in our bodies are a direct reflection of imbalances in our spirit, emotions, & subtle bodies.

I am passionate about mental health & well-being & am beyond excited to bring awareness to alternative healing options. I am honored to guide you, through Reiki, Hypnotherapy & Meditation, to the limitless self-healing power found within the subconscious.

Lynn Finch

Licensed Massage Therapist

Hi, I’m Lynn! I love to spend time outdoors with my family and fur babies (dogs), crafts, music, yoga, reading, massage and good food. Since massage is a part of my life I don’t know how I lived without it. It was the missing link in my wellness journey. I feel more connected to my body, mind and spirit through receiving and giving massage therapy.

Whether this is your first time getting a massage or your hundreth, I compassionately listen to your wants, needs, and concerns creating a calming massage unique to you. During every treatment I empathetically listen and check in with you to make sure you feel safe, comfortable, respected and cared for.

Mara Broyles

Tai Chi Instructor

Hi my name is Mara Broyles. I have been interested in Tai Chi for several years after having been in the martial arts arena long enough to have my belt filled full of color. I would like to share with you this “slow-moving Karate” of Tai Chi as we connect mind and body in soft, fluid movements. These movements develop flexibility, balance, and coordination while expanding memory and focus. Tai Chi helps aid in better digestion, reduces stress, enhances one’s mood, and gives one a restful night’s sleep. Please join us as we incorporate the benefits of martial arts and Tai Chi with these ancient, gentle art forms. Tai Chi classes are $20 a class and are taught on Mondays at 12 pm. To schedule, call 406-697-2443 or email me.
